Bienvenidos a la Guarida de la Mesa Buenos Aires de la Hermandad de la Costa

 

  OCTALOGO

I.- Acata con respeto las órdenes del capitán
como si fueran las de tu padre espiritual o hermano mayor.

II.- No acometas con armas o malas palabras
al hermano de tu misma caleta, ni de ninguna del litoral.

III.- Recibe en tu nave al hermano que te visita;
ofrécele refrigerio en tu mesa y el mejor coy de tu camarote.

IV.- Como trates a tus hermanos serás correspondido
y el capitán alabará tu fraternidad o te castigará.

V.- No tengas envidia de la nave de tu hermano
ni de sus velas y motores.

VI.- Trae al piloto sin puerto a tu caleta y si no; posee otra riqueza que; 
su corazón embárcale en tu yate y considérale como hermano.

VII.- No seas orgulloso ni violento; al serlo,conseguirás que
tus hermanos se alejen de ti y quedarás sólo con tu peste.

VIII.- EI amor al Mar debe ser el culto de tus días;
haz sacrificios a él observando estas leyes.

 

Octalog:
 
1. Execute with respect the orders of the Captain as if they were those of your Spiritual father or your older Brother.
2. Never bear arms or attack with bad words the Brothers of the same Bay or those of the Littoral.
3. Receive in your boat the Brother who visits you; offer him the food from your table and the best hammock in your cabin.
4. As you treat your Brethren so will you be treated and the Captain will celebrate your fraternity, or will punish you.
5. Do not envy the ship of your Brother, nor his sails, nor his motor.
6. Bring the Brother without harbor to your bay, and should he own no other riches than his heart, take him aboard your yacht and consider him as your Brother.
7. Do not be conceited or violent; if you are, you will cause your Brethren to keep away from you, and you will be quarantined with your plague.
8. Love of the Sea must be the cult of your days; make sacrifices for her and observe her laws.

“OCTÁLOGO ”

 

I Acatar com respeito as ordens do Capitão como se fossem de teu pai espiritual ou irmão mais velho.

II Não acometas com armas ou más palavras um Irmão de teu próprio Porto ou de outro do litoral.

III Recebe na tua Nau o Irmão que te visita, dá-lhe lugar à tua Mesa e o melhor beliche do teu camarote.

IV Como tratas teus Irmãos serás correspondido, e o Capitão apreciará a tua fraternidade ou te punirá.

V Não tenhas inveja da Nau de teu Irmão, nem de suas velas nem de nada de sua palamenta.

VI Trás o Piloto sem porto a teu Porto e. se ele não possuir outra riqueza além de seu coração, embarca-o na tua Nau e considera-o Irmão.

VII Não sejas orgulhoso nem violento; ao sê-lo conseguirás que teus irmãos se afastem de ti e ficarás sozinho com tua Peste.

VIII O amor ao Mar deve ser o culto de teus dias. Faz-lhe sacrifícios e observa estas Leis.
